Frankie Jackson is a nationally recognized Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with over 30 years of experience leading education technology initiatives at the state and national levels. She has worked in large school districts with 25,000 to 130,000 students. Throughout her career, Jackson has demonstrated a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, often integrating performance excellence frameworks such as quality management and service methodologies.
Jackson is a Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) from the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) and a Certified Cybersecurity Rubric Evaluator (CCRE). She serves on the Consortium for School Networking’s (CoSN) Policy Committee, Advanced Professional Learning Committee, Cybersecurity Advisory, and Driving K–12 Innovation Board. As the project lead for the national Cybersecurity Coalition for Education, Jackson is instrumental in certifying education leaders as cybersecurity evaluators. She also designs and instructs content for CoSN’s Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) project management course.
Jackson’s dedication to the field is further evidenced by her numerous accolades, including being named to the International Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Women in Information Technology Top 10 List, receiving the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Year honors from CoSN, and receiving a twice-recognized Texas Grace Hopper Award.

Technology and various other degrees and certifications, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Practitioner certification. She also holds certifications as a John Maxwell coach and mentor, emphasizing her commitment to both technical and soft skills development in the education sector.
