Donna Williamson has made a significant impact in the field of educational technology with her extensive experience and numerous leadership roles. Beginning her career as a technology leader and teacher, she later served as the Technology Director (CTO) for Mountain Brook Schools. At Mountain Brook, she led the district’s technology initiatives and managed all operational and instructional technology resources, culminating in the district being recognized as ISTE’s 2016 Distinguished District.
Williamson has been deeply involved with the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), serving as a board member and as the chairperson of CoSN Alabama Leaders. She is the Project Director for the CoSN Early Career K–12 CTO Academy, where she mentors new and aspiring CTOs in the education sector. Her role as a frequent speaker at national and state conferences allows her to present on various topics, including innovation, edtech leadership, communication, soft skills in edtech, and data analytics.
