Diane Doersch is the Senior Director of Information Technology at Digital Promise, where she spearheads initiatives that drive innovation in education advancing the use of technology. With a wealth of experience, Doersch previously served as the Chief Technology and Information Officer for the Green Bay Area Public Schools, where she was instrumental in integrating advanced technological solutions to enhance educational outcomes.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Lesley University and a Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) National Certificate from the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN). She is a Certified Cybersecurity Rubric Evaluator (CCRE), showcasing her expertise in ensuring the security and integrity of educational technology systems.
As a trailblazer in the field, she was a founding member and former president of the WISEDash Local Consortium, a coalition of Wisconsin school districts dedicated to creating a robust data warehouse for enhanced educational insights and decision-making.
From 2021 to 2024, Doersch served as the President of Northeast Wisconsin Women in Technology (WIT), an organization passionately committed to attracting, educating, and supporting women in the technology sector. Her leadership extends nationally as she serves as the Chair of CoSN from 2023 to 2025, guiding the organization’s board of directors and championing the advancement of educational technology across the country. Doersch is also a sought-after speaker and thought leader, frequently presenting at national conferences and contributing to various publications on the future of educational technology.
Doersch’s career also included directing technology for the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools program, which focuses on providing under-resourced schools with the technology and support needed to ensure digital equity.
